The combat system in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is still built on acrobatic maneuvers and web shooting for non-lethal stunning of opponents during fights, but it has been expanded and improved. Both heroes received four active combat skills that can be chosen from a larger number of options, and the skills from previous games have been retained by the heroes and do not need to be unlocked again.

The Deluxe version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC will feature all Standard Edition content and additional stuff. Standard Edition includes all the latest updates for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 since the game launched on PS5. This edition contains 14 new suits, a New game+ mode, Ultimate Levels, New Symbiotic Suit Styles, Time of Day Options, Post-Game Achievements, Action Figure Mode in Photo Mode, a Screen Reader and Audio Descriptions. Peter also briefly appeared in Across the Spider-Verse in both versions of his Advanced Suit.

Dodges and parries are key, as well as using environmental tools dotted around the arenas for your benefit. One area that Insomniac has made improvements in is that Spider-Man 2 offers significantly more in the way of enemy variety, so you’ll no longer be battering the same five balaclava bullies with baseball bats. New factions and units, such as flamethrower-wielding cultists that keep you at a distance, flying drones, and hunters who deploy laser grids above your head to limit aerial attacks keep you on your sticky toes.
